Are you open today?
Yes. We’re open 7 days a week, including public holidays. Except on 25 December and the morning of 1 January. Check our calendar to see what’s on in La Roque today.
What is the average length of a visit?
Allow about an hour and a half to explore at a leisurely pace. You can stay as long as you like.
Is the route easily accessible?
There are exactly 80 steps along the tour route. For seniors and people with limited mobility, there is a handrail, and by ascending slowly, visitors can explore at their own pace and at ease. Please note that the ground is uneven (naturally), so be sure to wear sturdy shoes.
Are pets allowed on the site?
Yes. We ask you to keep your pet on a leash and to bring plastic bags for obvious reasons of hygiene.
Is booking compulsory?
No. You do not need to book in advance to visit the site.
Tickets purchased online do not allocate a specific time slot. This is an advance online purchase, not a booking.
The only advance bookings required are for groups of more than 20 people and for evening visits (booking is recommended but not compulsory; tickets can still be purchased on the day).
Can I take a stroller on the tour?
Non à cause des marches et du sol inégal. You’ll be more comfortable with a baby carrier.
Is the course protected from bad weather?
Over 80% of the tour route is sheltered. You’ll be sheltered from the heat in summer, and in winter it’s less cold thanks to the shelter provided by the rock.
Do I need special clothing?
The temperature on site is the same as outside, in the shade. So dress appropriately for the season.
Are tours guided?
The site is open to the public. Guided tours are available in season. See the program of events.
Can I get a group or special rate?
Yes. We offer special rates for groups of 20 or more. Please refer to the price list for further details.
We offer reduced rates for people with disabilities and young children, as well as for students on presentation of a valid student card.
