EXPERIENCE A DIFFERENT TYPE OF TOUR, IN A SINGULAR PLACE
La Roque Saint-Christophe
THE PREHISTORY AND HISTORY OF A TROGLODYTE SITE LIKE NO OTHER IN THE WORLD
This immense wall of limestone, rising 300 feet above the ground and stretching more than half a mile long, has been constantly eroded by the river and frost weathering, shaping over a hundred rock shelters and long lofty terraces.
These natural cavities, occupied by man since prehistoric times, were later transformed into a fortress and a city in the Middle Ages.
