La Roque Saint-Christophe: Key Statistics

Site presentation
Located in the heart of the Périgord Noir, in the Vézère Valley, La Roque Saint-Christophe is one of the largest troglodytic settlements in Europe.
Inhabited since prehistoric times, then transformed into a fortress and a medieval city, this monumental cliff bears witness to more than 20,000 years of human history.
Today, visitors can explore a trail that combines heritage, nature, geology, and biodiversity, enhanced by guided tours, historical reenactments, immersive experiences, and cultural events throughout the year.
